    Post: Bad Teaching Question

    Tapsy

    Posted on 8/06/09

A Head Teacher employed by a county council refuses to take
a child, he was told by the LEA to take two children who
they had allocated to his School, he refused citing that 1.
His School was not the first choice [ correct, but our
catchment School which we had to ask first was over
subscribed] and 2. He felt the youngest child should be in
a special School, now as for that he had seen no School
records or met either child and said child attended
mainstream without incident and the Teacher had not seen
the boys School records or met the boys so how could he
stop entrance. The only way I know of is if a child has
been excluded from two previous Schools and then the School
can appeal an LEA decision. This was not the case. No
Governor meeting took place etc The head teacher took this
upon himself to make a decision that to date has seen both
children without a School/Education etc since May of this
year. Someone please tell me what I can do to get the
    children in School
