Post: Help please: Question about teaching through agencies

    Valerie in Canada

Can anyone tell me how it works when you are working for an
agency in England? My daughter has been in London since the
fall supply teaching with various agencies and wanted to
apply for a reception job at a school she's been at. She
was told they'd like to interview her but they can't afford
to "buy her out" from the agency. Do agencies "own" you
once you work for them? How does this work? Can she get
    "free" to apply for jobs?

    Thanks so much!
