I appreciate that there is an area for job ads so this
isn't one!

What I was wondering is if your school seems to have the
same problems recruiting as we seem to be experiencing?
It is a nice school in a pleasant part of the country yet
we seem to have very few applications even for Head of
Department jobs. The result is that we end up with short-
term contract teachers of very mixed capability.

The interest I have in this is that I want to be able to
move into a different role but NOBODY has applied for my
job so I am stuck with it....
